A leading force in Australian hairdressing, creative director and multiple salon owner Carmel Lee of Theory For Hair takes 2009 cool futuristic blondes to new heights. Twisting her way through the hyper urban backdrop, waves contrast against the harsh surrounds transforming the space into an uber cool secret passage of discovery and ghostly presence.
Leading teams at THEORY FOR HAIR as Australian National finalists in Goldwell Trend zoom International colour completion 2008 & 2009. As well as Colour Trophy in previous years, her work has been featured in magazines such as Marie Clare magazine and Australian Vogue as well as having been both professionally and personally profiled in numerous national and international media over her illustrious career.
Carmel has toured Australia doing ‘look and learn’ seminars in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney, teaching new techniques & predicting new trends in hairdressing and as a session stylist works yearly at Melbourne fashion week & was chosen to style for the Vogue and Harpers Bazaar shows at the Governor Generals house for the launch of fashion week in Melbourne. She continues to work as a stylist in ongoing fashion & runway shows with the likes of Wayne Cooper and Lisa Ho.
