Having been settled in India now for almost 18 months life has become more structured and I really feel at home here. Hairdressing has its challenges and having the most exclusive and expensive salon in the country comes with responsibilities to educate and build the industry to a higher level to ensure we have a sustainable future.

After seasons of undone hair roaming the catwalks, Autumn/Winter 2009 sees a return to polished sophistication; say Kim Robinson. They love the return to glamour but it doesn’t need to be complicated, he says. The return of curls and waves make hair look truly lush and healthy adding volume.

Since we last spoke, we have done a shoot for Mens Health and as you can see the pictures there was a lot of hair done but the end result it was decided the models look was to be in pool or shower. Needless to say it was good fun and very well organized. The Zoolander pose was the best shot i think!

Rod Anker is an Australian abroad, he is currently in the position of Creative Director for Kim Robinson Salon for India. Just a year ago he was doing his thing in Melbourne. Seeking out opportunities within the Asian market I was overwhelmed at the size and operations of a lot of Salons, I kept looking. I came across kimrobinson via an add on the internet in Singapore then further in Australia. Doing some research I was overwhelmed with the Salon and the reputation that they had. I Flew to Hong Kong and met Kim himself ( spending several days there ) and as they the rest is history.
