This stylish monochrome collection was created by Akin Konizi to support his nomination for the 2009 HJ’s British Hairdresser of the Year title, which he currently holds having won it for the first time in 2008. This exceptionally strong collection was inspired by the hedonism of Studio 54 and the dangerous decadence of the mid-70’s and into the early 80’s, with a mixture of geometric cuts and anti-head shapes combined with soft curls with structure.

These men’s looks are really fun and move metrosexual to the next level with crimping, quiffs, and colour, showing that men can play with their hair too. Even though the styles are very strong and include traditional styling techniques the finished looks are still very masculine.
