Well 2009 was an awesome year and saw so many changes for me and the Salon, training like crazy

So many milestones have been achieved here and I am very happy to be part of it and spearheading the direction of it. In October I went to London for Salon international with a team of 6 from the other kimrobinson salons throughout Asia. We went to every show, the good the bad and the ugly. Hair moving above shoulders and disconnection still big within the Industry

London was freezing, caught up with some friends there which was great. All in all a fast weekend trip having 3 days there and loads of work and then at night a few dinners and parties etc, as you do!

Landing back in Delhi we had a 2 day shoot for our 2010 Indian collection, Kim flew out and we had a ball! Set right in the middle of Fashion week, making trips to and from show and starting early each day to style the locks of some “ VIP’s” and as they say in India “ VVIP’s” every day, the fastest 10 days ever

With Delhi getting colder too I decided to off load the Jeep, sad to see her go, but seriously needed to get a car that was warmer, cooler and enclosed and didn’t want to get into it every morning and escort all the mozzies out of it! So after looking for a week or so and seeing every car in Delhi ( well almost ) given that a car that is not made in India has a 100% tax on it making even a cheap car expensive I ended up buying local! New  Suzuki swift, black and to be honest a lot more practical.

Back to work and busy leading up to Christmas, a short trip to Bangkok for some Christmas shopping and I am ready for Australia. Had 10 days back in Melbourne with my Family which was fantastic!! A great trip and even though I lost my bags in transit they have now been found and the presents are on route to the right homes!!

Having 2 days in Bangkok for New years eve was fantastic!! Roof top party at one of the coolest places in Town, great to Welcome a New year!

Back for a week and I was flown to Calcutta for a client, a 2 hour flight and 2 hours there then back to Delhi!  Next month off to Uzbekistan for a client also which will be cold.

This week has seen a Philippino Super model and a Bollywood actress in the salon which now is kind of normal. Another front cover shoot for a magazine a cocktail  party to attend, life is back to “ Normal”

I still remember thinking, wonder if I should and being told that life will be an adventure and your life will be enriched by the experience. I would never have guessed by how much life would change and how enriched life could or would be, this is one journey and I am loving every minute of it
