With a collection titled ‘Fearless Hair Fashion’ the Sebastian Professional Design Team has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2010 Australian Hair Fashion Awards. Led by Rokk Ebony stylist Joey Scandizzo, the team joins five other finalists in the Artistic Salon Team of the Year category.

‘Fearless Hair Fashion’ takes elements from the recently re-launched Sebastian range, bringing its credo to life. To create the collection, the Sebastian Professional Design Team was inspired by the three new product categories of the Sebastian range, Flaunt, Flow and Form, and two images have been created to represent each category:

• Flaunt: Upping the shine factor for a disco kick, super dressed hair loves to bask in fashion’s glory and is now flawlessly styled to flaunt.
• Flow: Inspired by fashion’s luxurious natural fabrics that are cashmere light and silky smooth to the touch, this ultra-nourished hair is craving to be caressed and stays effortlessly in the flow.
• Form: Mimicking fashion’s ability to layer on the attitude whatever the style, hair is designed to stay true to fearless form.

Joey said of the collection: “Sebastian has never been afraid to bend and change the rules because this is the way to discover new techniques and approaches. Leading the team for this collection I wanted to challenge us to think outside the box, so it’s all about being fearless and daring to try new things.
