Matthew Webb – a Star is Born

At just 21 years of age Mathew Webb is nothing short of spectacular. In this interview we discover Australia’s next young Star Stylist.

Without a doubt Matthew has announced his arrival in the big time. With only a couple of years of serious shooting behind him this young man climbed into the finals of Hair Expo 2008 Photographic Collection of the Year.

Now he celebrates a Finalist position for the AHFA Hairdresser of the Year Award. AND he’s just been announced as one of the Finalists for Hair Expo Hairdresser of the Year.

Mathew is a charming and humble young man who credits his support crew with his meteoric rise least of whom is ‘uber shooter’ Andrew O’Toole.

Born in England, now residing in Australia, Matthew has quickly established a name as one of the countries finest up-and-coming artists.His career began like many others alike, in a small town with a void of a big city’s stresses. Nurtured by a loving team, he was able to relocate to Australia to pursue his career and obsession with photographic hair.

Matthew’s long-standing partnership with the global superpower TONI&GUY has lead him to a multi-award-winning status, and has provided him with a platform to share his skills with those around him. He is passionate about sharing his techniques and motivating those around him to push their creative limitations.

Matthew is persistent and driven, a true ingenieur. His achievements far surpass his years. With his innovative and professional approach to his craft, he has made many friends and is a valuable asset to any photographic crew.
