how i got into hairdressing

I never wanted to be a hairdresser and I had absolutely no idea when it came to hair. A friend of mine, who was an apprentice, suggested I become a 1st year but I dismissed this idea. The very next day I helped my mum through an at-home hair colouring emergency, where I was forced to do her colour at home. To my surprise it turned out amazingly well!

My mum pointed out a job advert looking for a 1st year which was the very one my friend had told me to apply for! I applied, gave it a go, and fell in love with it!

something quirky

I suffer from a serious condition called Foot IN Mouth disease! While I was styling Quinn Almann’s (from THE USED) hair, I knew he was a famous American musician but didn’t know much about music. I proceeded to ask him about his music, and he told me it was rock music, to which I replied, “as long as it isn’t that awful Emo Music.” That afternoon I found out that THE USED had actually pioneered the Emo Music revolution. Oops!!
