Here’s a quick snippet of the interview with Rod Anker…“I have for many years been keen to pursue my career in Asia, unlike a lot of Australian hairdressers I have never had the passion to go and work in London or Europe. Saying that after going to Italy earlier this year to visit Cosmo Prof the passion for relocating became more of a need rather than a want.

Seeking out opportunities within the Asian market I was overwhelmed at the size and operations of a lot of Salons, I kept looking. I came across kimrobinson via an add on the internet in Singapore then further in Australia. Doing some research I was overwhelmed with the Salon and the reputation that they had. I Flew to Hong Kong and met Kim himself ( spending several days there ) and as they the rest is history.

The Salon is the most beautiful salon anyone could imagine, As you enter the team of reception staff warmly greet you and escort you to your area, either it be a private room of which the salon has four or semi private. The soft music and ambience with the most state of the art lighting to ensure the perfect light conditions are achieved. The soft sounds of birds in the wash rooms, the attention to remembering your last beverage. Service is not a goal it is the culture and part of the brand. With celebrity clientele and everyday occurrence, the delivery and final result are second to none!

I must say working here, I am amongst some of the best hairdressers I have ever met. The attention to detail and the techniques are outstanding and certainly I would have to say the best I have ever seen. I am so proud and happy with my decision to relocate and become part of this expanding group.

With already very successful salons in Hong Kong and Singapore we are now expanding to Beijing China and also New Delhi India , so this time is very exciting. We have opportunities for Australian Skills here and would welcome them as I have been, all together an outstanding operation and some incredibly great times ahead.”
