In 2010, Hair Expo is bringing the world’s top names in hairdressing to Australia. Watch, meet and be inspired by the wealth of local and international hairdressers, brands and entrepreneurs descending on Sydney – including L’Oreal Professionnel, Sassoon, Matrix, Mahogany, Schwarzkopf Professional, Redken, Goldwell, ghd, Aveda, New Zealand’s Paul Serville, Paul Mitchell and Australia’s reigning champion Caterina DiBiase.

Be educated…

Hair Expo has a world-renowned education program featuring outstanding artists from the international runways and shows of the UK, LA, Canada and New Zealand as well as Australia’s own superstars.

Leading creative educators such as Sassoon, Mahogany, Jayne Wild, Sharon Blain, and Caterina DiBiase will present 90-minute in-depth creative seminars, sharing their top tips as well as tried and tested tools from the industry. You can also catch Stephanie Kocielski, Global Artistic Director for Paul Mitchell and Matrix Design Team member, Sue Morgan with her special guest Stelios Papas. New seminar concepts include a special on colouring, held by 4 top colourists and supported by 5 different brands, as well as a panel discussion on how to boost your profile in live hairdressing; competitions and runway and hair shows.

For young stylists, the Look ‘n’ Learn Program offers a wealth of creative inspiration and two live competitions. Two jam-packed full days of sessions are included in one amazing pass.

The business program opens with the L’Oreal Professionnel-sponsored Business Breakfast on Sunday morning, followed by an up close and personal lunch with Sassoon’s Mark Hayes. During the afternoon, AVEDA’s “Benchmarking Your Business” offers focused coaching in business success, followed by NZ’s Paul Serville giving his insight into successful long-term growth strategies. On Monday, entrepreneurs can savour a long-standing Hair Expo favourite with the Goldwell “Building Better Business” Breakfast.

As if that wasn’t enough, you can also attend free sessions on the floor all weekend, where local and international icons will be offering cutting, colouring and styling classes and competitions.
