We catch up with Grant between shots and seminars to discuss his collection that has him placed into the Finals for the AHFA Hairdresser of the Year awards.

“Each October the fashion and beauty world awaits one thing, the next look in hair. This is revealed at one of the most exclusive events on the world beauty calendar, TONI&GUY Mainstage London. This gala event attracts an industry and A-List audience of 4,500 plus people from all over the world and is held in the massive Olympia Complex in the heart of London.

The night’s award presentations end with “the Big Kahuna”, the Photographic Collection of the year. With hundreds of entrants from over 35 countries around the world, this trophy has to be the pinnacle of anyone’s hairdressing career. Bristish born Grant started his Toni&Guy hairdressing career in Winchester UK back in 1995. Arriving in Australia in 2000, Grant is now recognised as Toni&Guy’s leading national and international educator, heading up the Toni&Guy Creative Academy.
Already a multi-award winning Art Director, Grant is excited to add this new award to his already enormous list of credits.
The amazing thing is, although Grant is the-best-of-the-best, he still cuts hair daily in the Cronulla salon which he owns with his beautiful wife
