Having been settled in India now for almost 18 months life has become more structured and I really feel at home here. Hairdressing has its challenges and having the most exclusive and expensive salon in the country comes with responsibilities to educate and build the industry to a higher level to ensure we have a sustainable future.

Beating three other finalists to clinch the award, Jayne Wild said; “This is the big one for us as it really is what hairdressing comes down to, having a great salon team. That this is the second year in a row and the third time we have won is pretty special to us.”

Mana Dave from Blaze in Auckland was named the 2010 New Zealand Hairdresser of the Year, as part of the Schwarzkopf Professional Hair Expo Hairdressing Awards.
