The AHFA Cocktail Party will be held in the glamorous Opera Point Marquee on the picturesque Sydney Harbour while the gala dinner awards presentation is happening inside the Opera House. The cocktail party will feature live streaming from the gala dinner as well as live performances by some of Australia’s hottest acts. This year’s line-up includes ARIA nominated Mobin Master feat. Karina Chavez (Show Me Love), 2008 breakthrough artists The Galvatrons (When We Were Kids), 2009’s most anticipated band The Frets – fresh from recording in Sweden and London as well as Melbourne’s eccentric rockers The Blow Waves and Aussie up and comers MOVE.

At the conclusion of the awards ceremony, the gala dinner guests will join the Cocktail Party to continue celebrating. The cocktail party will wrap up at 12.00am and guests will be invited to attend the official awards After Party at exclusive Sydney club The Ivy where celebrations will continue into the early morning with more performances by Australia’s hottest DJ’s.
