My inspiration for this collection is very much from the 80s, I wanted to give a feel from that era but with a modern 2009/10 twist, involving a variety of looks to reflect varied hairdressing skills from some extreme to soft looks, incorporating hair cutting right through to dressing.

For some businesses there has been continued growth building on strong foundations, sound business plans and good business practices. Others, unfortunately, in the last twelve months have not fared so well.

Our inspiration for DIFFUSED was to create a harmony between the bold lines of the photo’s/clothes and the soft movement of the hair.

Renowned stylist Gemma WIlmot from Melanie Giles Hairdressing, Bath, is now in the final six for South West Hairdresser Of The Year following an enormously successful photographic shoot.

Make no doubt about it; there is money to be made from running multiple salons. You just need to do it right.
