An incredible display of quality men’s grooming and exceptional talent was showcased in a display of over 800 black and white photographic entries submitted in this year’s competition – a record number of entries since the competition’s inception in 2003

The biggest event in the hairdressing calendar was a night Akin Konizi certainly won’t forget as he was announced as the 2008 British Hairdresser of the Year. Akin is in good company, as over the past 24 years there have only been 14 hairdressers who have been awarded this title, the greatest accolade in hairdressing.
